  • We Intend To Install Multiple Magnetic Glass White Boards On One Wall. Are There Installation Or Other Limitations That Would Keep Us From Butt Joining The Panels In Series? Asked By Earl on Jul 4th, 2018
    1 Answer
    • The only limitations for butt-joining glass white boards is that tempered glass will shatter if the panels are touching and there is any movement in your walls, which does happen. The industry standard, and what we recommend, is to leave a 1/16" gap between panels, about the thickness of a matchbook cover, this gap allows the panels "to breathe" and will keep you from having to clean tempered glass up off your floor.

All of our custom glass panels have a finished edge, which will create a 1/16" bevel on the front edge of the panel, so joined panels will have a small 3/16" channel (1/16" bevel on each side plus the 1/16" gap), so you won't have a perfectly smooth surface, but it will still look fantastic.

      Thank you,
      Brian
